The Home is a new feature and quality of life (QoL) improvement that was introduced in version 5.18.0. This version was released between November 17–20, 2024.[1] Home replaces the welcome screen of the game. Below is a summary of the changes and improvements to this screen. Since this is a revamp for the game, it is now also much more readily able to accept new features implemented by TapBlaze.
While the menu button on the top right-hand side of the screen still has the third-party achievements and leaderboards, they are not updated. TapBlaze has stated previously that these buttons cannot be removed at this time without causing serious impacts to the game.
After an in-game day is finished, you can select Home from the end-of-day summary screen to return to the main screen. The button has been added to the left side next to the Results button.

Below you will find a summary of the changes to this screen within Good Pizza, Great Pizza.
- The screen now shows more of the cityscape along with a zoomed out view of your pizzeria
- Your pizzeria is now smaller on the screen to accommodate your new Exterior Decorations that can be purchased in the shop
- The button to launch a game day has been moved to the right side of the screen
- The BakedIn app button has been reduced in size
- Buddy has been slightly reduced in size and moved more to the left
- The Good Pizza, Great Pizza logo briefly displays and then fades out
- You can now access your MyPad directly from Home
- A new button, Kitchen has been added to take you to your kitchen to customize your topping bin contents
- The Garden and Shop buttons have relocated to the bottom left section
Exterior decorations[]
The new Home allows you to decorate the exterior of your pizzeria to attract more customers into your establishment. The decorations that you purchase are then viewable here. These are some of the very rare decorations that have a tangible effect in the game.
To get the new decorations, you have to play an in-game day after updating the game for the Landlord to visit. Once they have visited and explained the new feature, and once you have completed the day, you will then get the new category Exterior found in the main shop menu. A continuously updated list of the exterior items can be found on the main decorations page. You can purchase exterior decorations for the:
