Ingredients

Ingredients are unlocked through normal game progression and can be purchased from the shop. Dough, Tomato Sauce, Cheese, Pepperoni and Eggplant are the only ingredients unlocked for free, while others must be obtained with Pizza Funds.

Autobuddies

Main article: Upgrades

All ingredients except for Doughs have a corresponding Autobuddy upgrade. Autobuddies add an ingredient to half of a pizza with a single tap/click, placing them evenly spaced on the Dough and decreasing preparation time, which helps to increase tips from customers.

Customizable Topping Arrangement

A new feature to be able to customize the contents of your topping bins was introduced in version 5.18.0. This feature is accessed via the kitchen button on Home. Here you can place your toppings in an order that best suits your needs to increase your performance and accuracy in pizza making. There are a few limitations to this feature.

• You cannot change the bins location
• Cheese, Sauce, and Dough placement cannot be changed with the exception of tomato sauce and pesto sauce being able to be swapped
• All toppings must be equipped for the layout to be saved

Cost and profit

Each ingredient costs a set amount of Pizza Funds to use and is charged to you immediately during the pizza-making process. Utilizing the counter Plant Pot and, later in Chapter 4, the Garden will help keep ingredient costs down and profit up.

Trivia

• The only time you get to use the Grand Pi toppings outside of the event is in Dr. Michael Keh's kitchen in Chapter 5.
• The toppings from Chapter 5 - Figs, Zucchini, and Artichoke - are currently the only toppings from the main game (not from events) that can only be obtained by gardening.
