Monster Mash (2024)

Monster Mash was the name of the 2024 Halloween event available from October 18 (12:00 AM, local time) until October 31, 2024 (11:59 PM, local time). It was available in version 5.16.0 for iOS/Android and Steam.^[1]

Gameplay[]

Dracula's Castle was accessible to players past Day 3. During Monster Mash, not only will you help Dracula serve his supernatural guests, but you'll uncover the mystery of the strange things that have been going on in Dracula's Castle!

Plot[]

To start the event, Dracula visits your pizzeria and invites you to be the master ovenist for his party where he has invited all his ghoulish friends. Once you agree, Dracula informs you of some strange occurrences that are happening at his castle, flickering lights and objects moving by themselves. He believes he is being watched.

At his castle, you encounter a new character Gemma who has not been invited, a broken-hearted Sir Harry Wolflord, and the entire crew of spookishly frightening characters. It is up to you to provide food for all the guests, while assisting Dracula and Abraham Van Helsing in catching and solving the mystery of the appearing ghosts.

Spooky Points[]

Spooky Points are new to Monster Mash but function the same as Hype from Bonfyre Fest. They can be used to earn Spooky Rewards.

To get , all you need to do is serve pizzas to guests. However, you'll need to be quick as decrease as customers wait for their pizza.

To gain bonus :

Make perfect pizzas by placing all required toppings correctly.
Serve the correct pizza with customer happiness at 70% or higher.

If you run out of , the level ends and you'll need to spend more to retry.

Castle Levels[]

Each level requires a certain amount of Energy Elixir to start. 1 is gained every hour, with a maximum of 50. Additional can be gained by spending Pizza Gems or watching ads.

Each level has 3 missions to complete which will earn you stars that can be used to claim rewards from the Star Reward section. The missions are shown in the dialog box before you start a level, and can also be referred to while playing the level by clicking the stars icon at the bottom of the screen.

Levels get more challenging the farther you progress, but boosters can be used to help you complete a level. Levels were unlocked in a staggered order as with last year's event. The original version 5.16.0 had a bug in level 5 that was fixed in version 5.16.1 and was released on October 19.^[2]

Boosters[]

You can use boosters to help you in a level. There are four different boosters:

Candy: gives extra 50 per order.
Magic Wand: increases each customer's happiness by 25%.
Oven Accelerator: makes the oven faster.
Autobuddy Helper: allows you to have all autobuddies.

You can earn a boost by watching an advertisement or three by paying 5 , except for the Autobuddy Helper boost, where you can only get with gems (one for 3 , three for 8 ). Each boost only works in a level. Winning or losing the level will cause them to expire and you have to use or get more. Boosters will expire after event ends.

Star Rewards[]

Earn rewards by collecting as many stars as possible. You can view and claim the rewards by tapping the icon on the bottom, right-hand-side corner of the screen.

Spooky Challenge[]

The Spooky Challenge level unlocks once you complete levels 1-14. In this challenge, you attempt to earn as many as you can in a limited amount of time. You may use any combination of boosters to assist in your challenge. As you earn , you earn rewards along with achievements. are not able to be combined with previous attempts, so the faster and more accurately your work the higher the point level and rewards you earn.

There are two ways that the Spooky Challenge can end:

Failing an order.
Running out of time.
