The 2022 Mother's Day Event was an event available from May 4 (12:00 AM) until May 27, 2022 (11:59 PM) local time.[1][2] The original end date was extended by 10 days due to download issues and bugs reported by players.[3] The event was released in version 4.7.0.

Plot[]
Alicante's mother, Valentina, visited you for the first time and ordered a classic meat pizza with Pepperoni and Sausage behind her son's back. After fulfilling the order, Alicante appeared, admitting their relationship wasn't the best and feeling bad that she would try your pizza instead of his. He said he would stop by again in a few days, giving you some time to come up with a plan to help the two Alicantes reconnect.
The next day, Kevin returned and told you his nursery was hosting a giveaway, offering rare flower buds to local businesses. Later on, after relaying this information to Alicante, he revealed that Valentina had a garden and he wanted you to figure out her favorite flower.
Valentina revealed that, although she didn't have a favorite flower, her favorite color was orange, and she ordered her usual. By midday, Kevin returned to give you 3 choices of flower buds: the Red Star Hibiscus, Moonflower and Tropicana Rose. Pick Tropicana Rose as it's orange and Kevin's personal favorite for Mother's Day. He then offered to replace your pot of Eggplant with the flower pot.
- If you picked the correct flower, Alicante said that the flowers aren't enough to repay Valentina for everything she'd done for him, prompting you to also decorate your pizzeria.
- If you picked the wrong flower, you had to replant a new one and wait for it to grow.
After purchasing all the necessary decorations, Alicante returned, asking you to make his mother's usual order and put it in the Lilipad Box. When Valentina arrived, he became emotional, and they enjoyed the pizza together.
Afterwards, Alicante thanked you and apologized for your troubles, and Valentina gave you Valentina's Vase. You also got the Momma's Boy achievement upon completing the story.
