Winter Festival was the name of the 2020 Christmas event. It was available from December 21, 2020 until January 4, 2021 local time.[1]
The event was released in Version 3.5.8.[2]
Gameplay[]
In addition to the decorations offered in the shop, players could earn special decorations by purchasing them with Wintermints.
Wintermints[]
Wintermints are a special type of peppermint candy currency specific to Winter Festival events. Players earned a maximum of 5 
for every great pizza they served a customer. Additionally, 20 could be collected daily as a login bonus. In-app purchases also awarded players bonus Wintermints with each purchase.
Any unspent Wintermints leftover from the event were converted into Pizza Funds at a rate of 1:1.
Giftboxes[]
One giftbox could be purchased daily with Wintermints containing a random decoration from the current decoration tier. There were three types of giftboxes separated by tier, varying in appearance and price.

Tier system[]
Wintermint decorations were separated into three tiers, with each tier needing to be completed before the next one could be unlocked. However, players were also given the option of unlocking decorations from any tier, albeit at an increased cost.

Plot[]
In the event, a cat dressed in holiday attire named Jingles "procured" decorations from his boss, the Big Man up at the North Pole. He offered you some items to decorate your pizzeria with in exchange for his favorite treat, Wintermints.
