Winter Festival was the name of the 2021 Christmas event. It was available from December 22, 2021 (12:00 AM) until January 4, 2022 (11:59 PM) local time.[1]
It was available in version 4.2.0.
Gameplay[]
In this event, you had to collect decorations, which could only be bought with Wintermints. You could also buy decorations in the in-game shop using Pizza Fund and Pizza Gems, and Premium Decorations in Jingles' Workshop using real money.
Wintermints[]
Wintermints were earned through the Winter Wonderland Event. They were only required to purchase giftboxes, which contained special decorations.
Daily bonus[]
For every real-life day, you could obtain a daily bonus, which could be either 5 
, 10 , or 1 
. The bonus provided was random and was not always the same for every player.
Giftboxes and tier system[]
One giftbox could be purchased using Wintermints per in-game day containing a random decoration from the current decoration tier. There were three types of giftboxes separated by tier, varying in appearance and price. You had to buy decorations from a lower tier before buying those from a higher one.

Event activities[]
There are three types of activities you can do during the event: make 25 pizzas, play 3 in-game days, and use 2 Oven Boosts. Every activity has 15 levels, which you can skip using gems.
