Winter Festival is the name of the event for Christmas 2023, beginning on December 21, 2023 (12:00 AM, local time) and ending on January 3, 2024 (11:59 PM, local time). This event was available in version 5.3.0.[1][2]
The final event gift, Holly's Box, was chosen based on players' votes for their favorite character in the event and released in version 5.4.0.[3]
Plot[]
Jingles arrives in Pizza City once again, bringing other animal friends to your pizzeria. You are to serve them their orders while they spend their time on the city.
Animal friends and hearts[]
Jingles visits our pizzeria back and informs us that he brought new Christmas friends with whom to share hearts. So our mission would be to fill the 8 new animal friends with hearts, the maximum of wich would be 45 hearts with each new Jingles Challenge we could complete it. If we complete it, each animal will give us a poster of themselves, at the end of event after having given it to them, their Pepperoni Holly pizza will give us a box of pizza with their portrait as Jingles promised us.
Requirements[]
In this event, seven new animal friends will come to your pizzeria and order from you. Each animal has their own required topping before they can visit your pizzeria.

Hearts[]
You can give hearts (
) to each of the animals. Each animal has three heart levels and you need to give a total of 45 for max heart level. At max heart level, the animal will give you a gift at the end of the in-game day and you can still continue giving more hearts to them. How many hearts given to an animal will determine their place in your personal or the global popularity rankings. You can also earn more hearts by watching an ad or paying with Pizza Gems and you can give a maximum of 1,000 per real-life day.
Missions and challenges[]
You earn hearts by doing missions: serve 8 perfect pizzas and serve 5 happy customers. Each real-life day allows you to earn 3 per mission for the first 12 missions. Afterwards, you can only earn 1 per mission.
Every 6 real-life hours, Jingles will come with a challenge with a time limit. Complete the challenge within the time limit and Jingles will give you the number of hearts he promises. You can double the reward by paying 2 
. If you fail a challenge, you can extend the time limit for 15 minutes by watching an ad or paying 1 or give it up. Consecutive failures require you to pay more gems if you wish to keep extending the time.

There are three types of activities you can do during the event: play 3 in-game days, give 25 Hearts, and finish 4 Quests. Every activity has 15 levels, which you can skip to a higher one using gems.
