Winter Festival was the name of the event for Christmas 2024, beginning on December 16, 2024 (12:00 AM, local time) and ending on December 29, 2024 (11:59 PM, local time). This event was available in version 5.19.0 or higher, past in-game day 8, Android 6/iOS 13 or higher, and a stable internet connection[1].
Plot[]
Jingles the Elf arrives to your pizzeria and states your pizza acumen has reach the North Pole. Friends of his will be visiting your pizzeria to sample your creations. However, his friends are picky and you must have their topping(s) of choice available before they will visit. Jingles also introduces you to Wintermints 
. This allows you to translate the language of his arctic friends.
Gameplay[]
Animal Friends and Hearts[]
Kimmy Slice visits your pizzeria and informs you that she hopes to meet all the friends that Jingles brought for Christmas and to share hearts 
. She reiterates that the friends that will arrive will only visit if you have their specific topping(s) available. The friends visit in a random order, but are:
- Pippin - Olive
- Winston - Bell Pepper
- Felix - Sausage
- Albert - Eggplant
- Mama and Little Capy - Olive
- Gull Brothers - None
- Chester - Mushroom
- Holly - Sausage
You can give hearts to the Arctic Friends to earn a gift from them and also increase their global vote. Once a friend receives 45 hearts, you will earn the special gift they have to offer at the end of the in-game day. (Note: Holly will still visit your pizzeria, but you cannot vote for her this year.)
Hearts[]
Overview[]
Hearts are given to each animal to show them love. There is no limit to number of hearts you can give to a particular friend, but you earn a special gift from the friend after giving them 45 .
Hearts are also used in the global vote for the most-loved character. The global heart count refreshes every 30 minutes. The winner will be announced at a later date.
The maximum number of hearts that can be given during the day is 1,000 . The day renews at 12:00 AM local time.
Earning[]
Hearts can be earned by completing missions (see below), watching ads, or using pizza gems 
. Every 6 hours, Jingle's will visit to give you time-limited challenges (see below). Complete the challenges in the time allotted to earn additional hearts.
Missions and Challenges[]
You earn hearts by doing missions: serve 8 perfect pizzas and serve 5 happy customers. Each real-life day allows you to earn 3 per mission for the first 12 missions. Afterwards, you can only earn 1 per mission.
Every 6 real-life hours, Jingles will come with a challenge with a time limit. Complete the challenge within the time limit and Jingles will give you the number of hearts he promises. You can double the reward by paying 2 . If you fail a challenge, you can extend the time limit for 15 minutes by watching an ad or paying 1 or give it up. Consecutive failures require you to pay more gems if you wish to keep extending the time.

There are three types of activities you can do during the event: play 3 in-game days, give 24 Hearts, and finish 4 Quests. Every activity has 15 levels, which you can skip to a higher one using gems.
